Finally got my keyed lock fab and installed

I’ve never had any luck with the magnetic ones either. I got a app on phone gps one . I just need a phone holder on this bike other bike already has one.
I tried the app method as well, it worked but in the phone holder and running my phone for so warm it shut down.
the little gps one works great. Unless I’m mistaken it has a setting to notify you when you’re nearing maintenance time as well.

I need to smooth it a little with a rotary tool. It’s pretty stable tho. The metal bracket above it’s for speedometer which I need to figure out there not made for mag wheels. But here a closer picture of the keyed switch. It won’t start with it on works great. The key comes out in both settings.
Get a meilan gps Speedo from amazon, it’s $24 ish but works great and isn’t effected by the engine like the magnet pickup ones are.

I haven’t had a chance to work on bikes but I got it on my next bike order once I have a chance too.

I used the phone case, My first one that I made two years was a bit bulky and vibrated it was originally made to hold a child seat attached to the seat post and over the rear tire and I cannibalized it to attached my phone to the handle bar.

As you can see I just poked some holes in the case and used bailing wire to attach it to the mount, I used this for two years and it worked out alright but it vibrated a bit I could see and read the display fine but did not like it because it was way too high on the handlebar

I have almost finished making the one I am going to use this summer it looks a little ugly so far but when I'm done it should look alright, I cut a piece of thin rigid plastic and attached it using thin Velcro strap and then attached that to a small piece wood that I used Velcro and zip tie's to the handlebar.

Just make sure that case is one some are two piece and come apart easy, also make sure that it has a solid backing that covers all of the back so it does not bend.

I already got what I need thanks guys.. this post was from November. I got a phone case on one bike and got a bike computer in the works. I also got 3 analog speedometers .Thanks tho

Watch out for bike computers, if they use magnetic sensors the motor on our bikes is very electrically noisy and will make the bike computer fail, it doesn’t damage it severely but it causes it to reset and not read properly
