Trailers

keep in mind another con with sidecars is that you are wider than the sidewalks, so you are forced to take the road rather than the sidewalk which could be more dangerous.

also, you have more wind resistance means less economy and performance.

but they sure look kewl! but for daily use id totally prefer a trailer.

Legally only electric mobility devices which are limited to 15 mph or less are allowed on sidewalks. Many places don't allow pedal only bicycles on their sidewalks unless the person is under a certain age. No place that I know of in the USA allows a combustion engine powered vehicle to be operated on its sidewalks.

WELL! If you don't like my driving, stay off the sidewalk.
Sidewalks are for pedestrians; streets are for vehicles. Bicycles and motorized bicycles are considered to be vehicles. When I walk I use a sidewalk when I ride my bike I'm in street with traffic where I belong.

Here are my favorite safe cycling videos I like to teach others with. Be sure to watch all three parts. All too often bad cycling habits are brought over into the motorized bicycle world. This then causes laws to be passed banning self built motorized bicycles.

Check this bad boy out! 20$ on Facebook marketplace, homemade cargo trailer with suspension!

No problem! Whenever I build up a bike, it's SRAM drivetrain, Shimano brakes lol.

Also took the trailer for it's maindain voyage, 3 miles, 120lbs and pedal power, handles the load like it's not even there! (Although I can't pedal up to speed in 3rd, 2nd gets it done though)

Well, 15 miles total, made the trailer go off-road with 150lbs of cat nip in the back, suspension is perfecto! Didn't even fell it over the bumps (expect for the bike, cause rigid)

Trailers is dead solid, huffy bike is eh, really didn't like being torqued on uphill (front forks bend so much that it rubs the tire on the fender)

I'd say 150-200lbs trailer weight is the max for this frame, 250-300 for my tomos (built a lot heavier)
