im just saying in my community, regardless of the law, its understood that bicycles, regular/electric/or otherwise, are often better off on the sidewalk, for everyone's benefit and safety, hence the reason they often are, and law enforcement doesn't care.
BTW where do you live. I would like to check the M/B laws
Not to prove you wrong, but maybe to inform you of the law Because the Law does care

This is the first mistake most M/B riders make They ride their M/B like they used to ride their bicycle

That statement implies that the States law, where you live, differs from what you previously said was "legal"...lol...DAMIEN
🤣😂 no, it doesn't.

let me ask you some questions smart guy...how do u know im in the states? how is it you assume the law is the same, or enforced the same, here as where you live? is it that hard to comprehend laws are different depending on where a person lives?

rhetorical. no need to reply✌️👍

Best guess would be your just a young hip hopper wannabe out of Long Beach, or aspiring to be one...lol.

Same things in common.

Your disrespectful to Laws and duly constituted authority, and get a real thrill out of scarying pedestrians on side walks in the night time, like any other thug hip hopper wannabe.

Sorry, Couldn't resist...But at least i have the balls to answer a question or two...Where are yours ???...In your mommies purse ???...lol...DAMIEN

Sadly we've lost a lot of my Aussie friends on here. Because of irresponsible riders Australia passed laws banning self built motorized bicycles. In states where self built motorized bicycles are illegal one may ride for year with no problems in their local area. However, go a county or two over and there the police may treat you like you're one of the worst criminals that ever existed.

With the law you may get away with many things such as riding on sidewalks. Yet let an accident occur even if you didn't cause it, then watch how many charges get piled up on you.

Watch the videos I posted you'll truly be surprised at how much you can learn. I genuinely want all of us to have safe and enjoyable rides. If I didn't care, I wouldn't say anything to you.

Would you ride a moped on the sidewalk? If you lack the skills and confidence to navigate traffic you probably shouldn't be on any kind of bike.
Damn i wish i could highlight the first sentence and laugh and highlight the second sentence and thumbs up lol. Im thinking @Sidewinder Jerry has never seen a rural country road with a 60mph speed limit where the most traffic is tractor trailers going 70mph and there is a "sidewalk"... it's 45 feet from the road and averages 2 pedestrians a week. Trust me in these rural ass communities, the police don't want you to get ran over and they trust you to watch for peds. Besides, their wife is a first responder, their cousin is an ER doctor, their neighbor is the coroner. They still have to go to church with my mom, their kids are in her Sunday school class....i can see how it's different around the country though.

It was the god damn over reaching government that took their rights away. Don't f***ing blame a select few individuals that the Australian government chose to exploit as the reason. I bet more drunk people die on motorcycles in Australia every year than have ever died on motorized bikes. Tyranny. Period. You do realize that statistically, mathematically, AR 15s are one of the safest rifles in America.

I live in Tennessee and have rode on many narrow, curvey mountian roads with 50+ foot drop offs on the side of the road. I've also rode on highways where the speed limit was 55 mph. Never at any time have I felt unsafe or the need to be doing 30 mph on a sidewalk ment for pedestrians. I guess some just lack confidence in their cycling skills and abilities to navigate traffic.
