Coming together better than expected

I spent a while planning- getting parts- getting cash together- assembling and modifying. This thing is really looking good I think. Let me know what you think

Also, for confirmation- when I mounted the sprocket on the rear wheel I placed the bevel so the teeth were closer to the wheel - it looks like that's what's right but I dont have any solid instructions so that's taking me alot longer as well

These gas tanks with the lip going all the way around it- if I remove the lip and smooth it out would I have to put any kind of sealant inside or outside or can I just keep my grinder from going too deep?
The gas tank is stamped. Don't remove the lip. The gas tank will leak.

If ya do remove the lip with a grinder your gonna ruin the gas tank.

If ya don't like the gas tank stamped lip seam. you can always put some decretive trim on it.
Automotive door or fender trim works great. Available in different colors too

Here is a pic of my gas tank lip with a chrome trim on the lip

When you fit the chain, if it runs smooth and lines up good then you're fine. If not, then turn it around, it will move the chain out a 1/4". I've run them both ways, as needed to clear tires. I have instructions that say the bevel goes in, but never really worried about that.

Can someone link me to instructions for the build? I'm almost done but I'm sure it would be helpful..

Also a exploded view of a zeda 66/80 maybe with part numbers would for sure be helpful to have
She is almost done coming along very nicely. I'll post pics and decriptions when she's up and running

Thanks everyone

Even with the sealant I've seen on motorcycles it would leak?

No worries- I like the idea of a little chrome on the tank of a blacked out bike. Just looking for ideas for other builds lol.. I'm a jump in with both feet kind of fellow lol ohz
