With all the trouble I hear about the steel liners, I have to try it. I've been down every other road. My plan is to pin it, then clean it, then install it, then beat the living crap out of it. I have a bike with over 4k miles with a chrome liner. It has been beat to hell, and then made a return visit 20 more times. Still runs like a champ, no signs of slowing down or any worn bearings and the chrome liner still looks great. Just wanna see if I can get 10000 miles out of a china doll with a steel sleeve. Getting close to 5k with chrome, original rings, and wider gudgeon bearing installed from get go. Y'all think it will happen? Stay tuned, just ordered the jug today. From CDH on the bay, $55 bucks for piston, jug, gaskets and clips, 49mm.

I still have a "Seeutec" 80/66 that i put 6000 miles on it over 5 years...Only retired it because the bike frame broke and built a new bike using a Zeda 80 that is ceramic sleeved...The Zeda now has over 800 trouble free miles on it as we speak...I think the type of oil is crucial though as far as longevity is concerned...I use this one at 32:1...4 ounces oil to 1 gal. gas.

Have no idea what the seeutec has for a liner but for an average run of the mill motor, it still ran great when i retired it...The Zeda runs smoother though, its much better balanced.

If i can get 6000 out of a run of the mill chinese junk, i see no reason why something better cant get even more mileage than that.

Someday when i feel ambitious, ill take the seeutec apart to see whats what inside...lol...DAMIEN

depending on what I am doing, I run 24-40:1, also depends on the oil too. With the good bean juice, mixed into the good smoker juice, you got sweet protection and a lower smoke output. If ya run the bean juice, just run some reg oil a tank or two now and then to clean it up in there. Bean juice is some good stuff, smells good too.

and a lower smoke output.
Believe it or not, im getting zero smoke outta mine...There is another guy here in the forums that also took my advice of using the ethanol free gasoline with the Amsoil im using at the same ratio and reported back to the forums he is also smokeless...All without beaner juice...lol...DAMIEN

Ps...I see you joined in 2019 but cant recollect seeing you here since i joined last year...did you go AWOL (UA) for a time ???...lol.

I have 3 of them running steel sleeve cylinders and they are more powerful than the YD100. You will need to do quite a bit of dremel work to the ports though.

NO SMOKE!!! better fire up a marley then, get the right effect going. lol I am old, like my pressed degummed bean juice in the gas, love the smell. Yeah I went off into the world and left this place behind. Got tired of the dumbarses here. People claiming to be some fancy flow dynamics engineer for some big company, saying fuel will fall out of suspension on a 7 inch intake, lmfao. People claiming to be some drag race mechanic, saying rocking sideways is ok for a crank bearing. I just couldn't bare to read one more idiotic post. I see its still the same issues with noobs, and they all fail to read the 1,000 posts that specifically address their problem and the title is the same repeated all the way back to the day this place fired up. I just came back to laugh at the idiots and chill with the cool peeps. see how it's rocking, ya know. See peoples cool new builds and such.

I have better, I have a mini 45 degree air die grinder. Bought it years ago just to port cylinders. Works amazing, so easy to get in them tight spots, top and bottom. I'm hoping its a bunch of low end grunt. I like my torque over raw rpms. I'm actually starting to get my fleet of motorized bikes up to my standards. I got most of these bikes for free, right after I sold my fleet down to 3, the 3 bikes I refuse to sell no matter what. Now I have a whole f n corner full of them again. lol. Only diff, this round cost pennies on the dollar and mostly free. I just have to scrap the crap kit parts from all these cheap kits people bought. I like my cdh, they keep the crap to a min in their kits. Still should upgrade the tensioner to a spring on all kits sold though, but ehh, i'm not sellin kits. I figure about $300 and I can have 5 more bikes of random styles ready to ride. Maybe not even $300, haven't really got into them. Waiting on a chansaw carb for another build, then I'm gonna get to them.
Ah ok,..... Old timers voodoo sh*t.
yep, I'm sport'n grey, me and Jesus go way back. So far back we played marbles and pog's on the same team. Not much for the new stuff, just doesn't work like they advertise. it works alright, but i'm fine with a little smoke and some tinker time cleaning the jug 2 or 3 times a year. Getting inside lets ya know the condition of things before it becomes a show stopper. cheaper to change a $4 bearing than $50 bucks or so for a jug and piston, then did it take the head out too? The bean juice also tightens clearances. More seal, more power, better burn. Takes a few tanks to notice though, as it builds up.
