I posted a link to a product and the text for the link shows as "verify your identity." Trying to figure out why that is. It's in my last comment in this thread:

You have probably ordered something from Walmart online at sometime...I have done this as well... and what its all about is they want you to go through their obstacle course just to view something, not necessarily buying, so they can track anyone who has a Wally World acct...i told Walmart that they have lost me as an online customer because of this annoyance...If Amazon doesnt do this to their customers, Then Wally World should not either...So Walmart is losing all my business to Amazon just because of this...DAMIEN
 
@yuckfoo Looks like a problem with the URL unfurler (the thing that makes the URL's look pretty). I've turned off the unfurler on your post so it shows as a normal link now. I'll try figure out what is going on here with Walmart links.

@DAMIEN1307 I think this has happened on some of your posts in the past too.

I can confirm that this is Walmart blocking the forums IP after too many unfurl requests. I just did a test and after 20 unfurls in a certain amount of time it blocks the forums IP and then we get the "Verify your identity" link showing.

I've submitted this to the forum developers as a possible bug in the forum software. Hopefully there is some way they can make Walmart links show a normal link incase the unfurl request comes back with "Verify your identity".

In the mean time you will have to edit your post, click the Toggle BB Code button which looks like this [ ] and change this line from "true" to "false".

That was quite a piece of detective work there Anton...You should be on an episode of "Blue Heelers" for that piece of work...lol...Thank you for finding the cause of that little problem...Doesnt change my opinion of Wally World though...lol...DAMIEN
