What are people using for mag wheels to run disc brakes. I see all these sorts of adapters and all. Not trying to buy stuff I don’t need. This is going on a felt faker frame by the way. Not sure if that changes anything.

These are the mags i use and they are sturdier than the 10 spoke mags since they have more material contact to the rims than the 10 spoked mag...DAMIEN

My bike below with these 3 spoke mags...They come with the 36 tooth sprocket, front and rear disk brake rotors and disk brake calipers and brake pads.

I not saying mags are better in my opinon I have both. So you have the felt faker does it have the disc caliper bracket on frame in rear. Forks in front. I tried earlier to correct it .

Are those just stickers on the wheels? And did you have to get anything else to put the wheels on for spacing or anything?

Yes...They just peel right off...they are plasticised...The ones on the spokes will start peeling off themselves after the first 20 miles...lol...so i just took them off but left the ones around the rim which still looks cool, just a little more sedate...lol...DAMIEN

Was your bike disk brake mount ready?

I found out to use their billet adaptor your only getting 2 or 3 mm of pad just a pinch. The sale it for the rear only as of yet what I have found the rotor is 200 mm and to get full use for stop power much larger found one 223 not sure if that's too big and will cram.

But, just keep it in mind if you can't stop get n a wreck Product Lability!
And not to be a surprise it could be very intentional something written in the zombie holy Bible. Found 2 other bike mechanics years of experience really nice guys to chat with deliberately throw a wrench in that damn near work to get me killed.

I bought the same s**t mags too because I was press for time.

Tried gas bikes and few more they are very much more desirable to get one out of a jam, but we're sold out.

Bikebury are plain aluminum not much strength the other the other ones gasbike use to carry we're aluminum allow much more heavy they had 6 cogs and those 6 cogs had splits in the center where you can run three 10mm bolts through to hold the gear plate I If you were is enough to have bought a 18 gear plate teeth of your choosing.

Bike berry dosen't even come with a 15 hole that without looking might be able to lay a rag over it.

Why? Those six holes 4mm bolts are designed for the rotor only and baby those bolts are going to snap, break and bend in not too long of a time, also for maintenance it is going to be a bugger to spot.

So if you got the time that I did not had look for something more veritable get you out of a jam.

Also had blueberry before and if you keep using those caliper brakes on the rim they going to explode with a loud bang about a 1-foot piece of shrapnel blows off.

Also, their adapter if your bike is not factory disc ready are the wrong size for the
200 mm rotor you are only a small pinch something like 4 mm I half to check again, but it's so damn small on stopping power and it's going to wear out faster just might get someone killed, remember product liability attorney if you live.

That's a lot of daylight where there should have been brake stop maybe 23 mm more pad unused.

Disc brake rotors only use the outer edge for braking , but I hear where you are coming from . And I have almost nothing on my bike but rear brakes and a seat , you can still feel the rims flex a bit in corners, so I think if your pushing any kind of real weight they probably aren't the most viable solution , they work for what I got going on , until they don't . Research and Development, right down the hall from product liability. Anyway good luck .

That deal Damien posted above seems sweet with the plug n play on the sprocket/dics + you get a set of calipers. Seems only issue is will the calipers mount front and rear w/the bike you have.

I had really hard time putting disc brake. So I got them on 2 bikes now. The hardest part is rear wheel. I have mag wheels the top hat adapter make the rotor and sprocket easier. The caliper is the hardest part.
