Hi, a quick intro. I'm a new member from CA who thought it'd be a good idea to motorize his bike since gas is expensive and he doesn't have a DL.
I got a stanton gx50 FDR kit about a month ago and I recently started to assemble it since there was a lul in my uni activities. Unfortunately, I have been driven mad by the damn U bracket because I can't mount it. The nut that threads onto the bolt which holds the u bracket to the bike frame doesn't go in all the way and I can figure out for the life of me how to thread it in all the way. I've read the instructions and tried to youtube it, but besides the lack of info all the info I get online just glazes over this fact like it should be extremely easy and self-explanatory.
Keep in mind, I haven't even actually put the metal channel on the bracket yet, and literally all that's keeping me from riding is the damn nut that wont thread. Any help on how this is solved would be appreciated.
