Smolik minarelli hybrid motorized bicycle kit.

Thanks, I'm running the newest version of the jaguar adjustable cdi
R u happy with the jaguar? I tried to email the guy in Australia that makes them. U actually just reminded me to check and see if he got back to me. I went on the jaguar site and he had a email to this manufacturer. Is that how u got yours?

Ya I got mine from Nick in austrailia. Works great.

I got my kit from Amazon for$200 all in and everything was advertised the same as the eBay and bicycle engine.com kits except the Amazon mentioned a ceramic cylinder coating so I went with that

I did get my jog pipe mounted to my pk80 thou.
I think it came out pretty good. This is my first expansion chamber pipe and I can't believe the power gains it producing. I don't have a dyno or anything, but I'd bet it made about 1 horse power.

Got a small window to work on the Minarelli. First thing I did was Helicoil the stud holes to 5/16-18. I think it a wise thing.
I assembled the spacer, cylinder, and head and torqued t 144”#. just to be sure, all good. Figured with the differential expansion of the iron cylinder/aluminum block, couldnt hurt. Now to port match and assemble

Can you post a picture of those transfer ports?

One other thing I advise is to bolt the spacer in place alone after you add the gasket maker to the bottom. That way you can clean out the squeeze out from the ports and around the spacer. There is a good bit that would impede the flow, especially around the transfers. Smoliks vid shows assembling everything together, which is fine if you know just how much maker to use. Im heavy handed with it.

Its buttoned up now, there is a pic farther back in the thread that shows a tracing of the metal to be removed. It leaves precious little area in the bottom case where it meets the spacer, dont over do it.
