I seem to always be looking for what size a bolt or screw is. Maybe one of you super knowledgeable people could put together a list of all the most common screw and bolt sizes on these motors.

I've got a stripped carb clamp screw and want to replace it. Does anyone know what size and thread they are? I know all about taking it to the hardware store, yadda, yadda, I'm not interested in doing that. Want to purchase online.

M6 x1.0 is the most common size screw on these (think of the clutch cover screws)

id take one of those off and compare sizes, believe the carb idle screw is an M5x(0.8?), try and see if the magneto cover screw and see if it will work in it.

keep in mind the idle screw has a taper (for adjusting the idle up or down) so your gonna have to make that yourself.

id just buy a new carb, for 8$ your gonna spend that one 2 screws +shipping (or at least close to it) + the hassle of finding the right one, trial and error, etc.

Yeah man I should probably just buy another one. I know everyone says the kit carbs are the best, but is there something else (that doesn't require a reed) that would be better for a bike with a shift kit? ... for some reason?
