Hey there, I'm a newb to the world of Motorised Bikes and I would really appreciate some pointers and answers to my questions.
1) How would I get started with mb? Should I build my own (bike + Engine) or just buy a prebuilt one?
2) How do I know the parts I use are reliable and wont fail on me?
3) I'm 16, is it illegal to ride it (50cc mb or 50cc+ mb) in England without a license?
4) Do I have to register the bike?
5) Whats a two-stroke engine??
6) Anybody who is free and has experience, is it okay if I PM you any further questions I may have? Thanks :D (preferably from England but anywhere is fine, just lmk)

I appreciate the help, cya all soon

If I'm remembering correctly England tends to be somewhat strict on self built motorized bicycles. They basically want you to buy a manufactured one. That being said you may live in an area where the local police don't enforce these guidelines as long as you're obeying all other traffic laws. If that's the case, you then ride at your own risk; you don't encounter some rookie cop who feels they're saving the world by getting a self built motorized bicycle off the road.

I'd say a 4 stroke for you, easy to maintain with little skill needed for maintaining it. It will get you into the world of MB, and let you build your skill set in anticipation for a power house 2 stroke. If they are illegal or not, IDK. I'm in the USA. As for parts, buy only from a well know reputable vendor. There are lots of good vendors out there. Feel free to pm me if you have questions . The building part, or buying one made, thats all on you, do you like tools and building, or just riding? I'm a tool man, I like to tinker, so I build my own.

Oh and welcome aboard the motorbike express, dinning car is in the back, please keep all of your body inside the train at all times.
