No they are fine when I adjust the flower nut it either stops rubbing or not and it extends the bucking bar a bit only and you can disengage or engage the clutch
I adjusted it I tightened and loosened the flower nut back and forth nothing. All it did was push out the bucking bar a bit only. I’m really confused I’ve looked all over for answers

The mandrel is connected to the shaft through a pin, that is preloaded with the spring. If the pin shears or bends, no clutch. If the mandrel snaps, no clutch. It may move a little as parts smash into each other though. An the pin on the mandrel, if it goes, the buck bar will go in further.

Ok I remember how there setup now, I bet your right. Either the pin fell out or broke allowing the bucking bar & ball to go deeper in clutch shaft bore. Resulting in no clutch.
