If I wanted to make my own custom exhaust system, where would I find just the manifold fixture (maybe with a 1 inch stub) that I can then connect flexible or other pipe and on to the other components? I know the flexible exhaust systems you can buy have this part incorporated into them. I have searched and searched but can not seem to find that part. I would think you could sell plenty of them. Any ideas on where to source?

I could make you 1, but any welding/fabrication shop could build you 1. Might be pricey? But you never know.

Risk Man, go to treatland.tv & look up exhaust adapters & exhaust manifold, they should have something. Also look up exhaust header.

You can find it in the hardware store, they call'em washers. Just drill two holes by the big hole and shape, or not. Then weld it into a flange.

Not a bad idea.
If you have an existing pipe, you can cut the flange and a little bit of the pipe off of it.
Well.. after I posted and was laying in bed, the light came on: Why don't I just cut the end off of cheap muffler? ! Thanks , I must have seen your post in my head!

Before you go welding her up, trace the old one onto a piece of steel in the 3/16 thickness range, just incase.
