Yoyoyo.... back in da game! Need suggestions for carb setup

You put the slide on before putting the end through the throttle grip.
I did, I fitted the carburetor slide first..... and then when I tried to install it at the throttle tube side, there wasn't enough slack. It barely had enough, I managed to squeeze the barrel end on but it was pointless because of the tension of the cable wire causing the slide to be in OPEN position all the time.

make you own ends, do you have lead fishing weights? a spoon, a metal tube the right size, you fray the end of a cable. Saw a line in the tube for the cable to run through. use a spoon and the stove to melt the lead, pour, tap mold to remove any air bubbles. boom, let cool. bamb, you're done.

I mean, there are thousands of people who have use bigger carbs and was in the same boat as me.... there HAS to be a more simpler way. Unless you think everyone did it like what you just described or all of them went to the bike shop to get custom cables? I just don't think that's the case, there has to be a more simple way.... or I'm doing it wrong?

Can you give me a link to where I can find a throttle cable to fit an OKO PWK 21mm carb?
While I don't have a link for you.
Throttle cables are measured by the housing length and the cable length,
Measure the cable length and housing length you got.
Figure how much more cable length you need
Then look for one with the same housing length but a longer cable.
Sounds to me like ya only need it a little bit longer

why not just snip off some housing?
I already mentioned it earlier.... I would if I could, but you can't simply slide the cable out one end and cut the housing to desired length, since one side has a barrel and the other a ball. Unless there is a way to do it without damaging the cable inside?

Just how much simpler do you think it should be ???...Thats why i simply had a bike shop make me a simple cable because the cheap junk Chinese cable that was sent to me with the kit was simply too short...lol...Doesn't get much simpler than that...lol...DAMIEN

Making your own throttle cable is done all the time with a barrel end with set screw

Cut the barrel end off then shorten your housing a little. Put the barrel end with the set screw on and your done.
