Ok I bought a cable specifically for a oko, pwk carb from scooter swap shop, with the adjusters on cable screwed all the way down & without the cable hooked up to the twist throttle. Free cable length is 90mm, now take that with a grain of salt cause I have not tried to install cable yet. But 1 thing I do know, the guys at scooterswapshop know there
. Unless I got sent the wrong cable for some reason that should be close. Also that length could change if using a 90° or a 45° throttle cable noodle at the carburetor.Potato_In_Exhaust

Alright thanks! So.... all I need to do is go to a bike shop and ask for 90mm of free cable from tip of the barrel to the end of the ball thingy for carb? With that said, how much did the scooter swap shop charge for your cable? Yes they have in stock, they were $10 on sale for Christmas, they are $15 now since there not on sale. Heres a pic of what they sent me & was ordered for a pwk/ oko / cp, carburetor

I'm trying to learn/teach myself to copy & paste a link, but go to scooterswapshop & in there search bar, type in pwk/oko throttle cable. It will bring up all the cables that will work, some scooter specific, but the 1 I bought is like $14.17 now.

Ahhhhh YEAH, BOY! I did it, I made it work and saved $15! Gotta say, pretty proud of myself at the moment. Anyway, to all those cheap bastards (like myself) who wants to save a few pennies, you CAN modify your cable to make it fit properly. What I did was what was suggested here, took a dremel with a cutting disk and after measuring, carefully cut away the portion I didn't need. It was quite a pain to get those spiraling metal off but eventually it came off. I took off a bit more than I'd like, but it still works. Anyway, thanks to all those who threw their 2 cents in.
