After page one the OP has never returned to say if the issue was resolved or if he is still hunting for the petals.

I have some carbon fibre, I could lay up a sheet for the DIYer. Only cost $30 a sf.

Carbon fiber was suggested to him...he totally rejected that idea and wants fiberglass as he considers this superior.

Lol I tried to explain to OP that, how thick your reeds determines how stiff they will be & that it dont matter what material there made from. I found reeds from .013" - .060" when I was trying to help.

I still don't know where to buy petal reeds for my fat DIO reed setup should I need to replace them. Anyone know a direct replacement? Or if there are any reeds made for other motors that will fit right in?

Send @DieselTech a PM.... He knows about the stage 6, I get the sheets and make them... Your looking for one of these... but there may be other options

Do you know of any reeds that would fit right in as well? Say, something like dirt bike reeds from a Honda CR80, Suzuki RM80, Kawasaki KX65, etc etc?

I don't... I was looking at the Yz 80 from pictures looks really close... but without having both of them in hand to measure and compare them I can't say anything about it....
