what do you guys think about predator motors?

hey fellas ...i have seen a few videos on youtube ..with bikes that have 79cc 4 stroke 3 hp predator motors from habor freight on them and also some with 212cc and 6.5 hp...what do you guys thunk of them ... pros .?.......cons?.......attack the the topic an which way your desire guys ..just would like some insight ..im new to motored bikes...thanks again
Very durable and work the best with a Mikuni carburetor.

Predator is great for a wood splitter or garden tractor... Colman mini .... Not a fan of wide pedals they make turning like a school bus and bend hard on bearings... There doable on the strech Schwinn occ choppers if you can get it away from the pedals... Wouldn't be enjoyable to ride

I ordered the extended pedal arms with the pedal shaft/bearings and those didn't begin to clear the CVT cover on the left side or the
pull starter housing on the right side. I had to heat the arms and bend the arms for the clearance on both sides. A CVT makes a
bike a real monster on takeoff and up to the high end of the rpm range but it is limited how far the drive/driven pulleys will spool out.
The factory drive pulley on the CVT is not even half the performance that a Juggernaut pulley is! The Juggernaut is quieter, smoother
and is made to spool the driven pulley up to high rpm which is world's difference in performance. The downside of the CVT is that it's
heavy and takes more room up. I might add that a centrifugal clutch cannot handle the power from a Predator 212cc engine they are
ok on the 79cc engine but way to small for the 212cc. A person might get by babying the clutch on acceleration and the housing can
get red hot pulling high rpm on one because of slippage.

You know, the predator 212 has a hemi version, I will be performance building a hemi over the summer, and putting it on my Massimo Carbon 6.5

Mine runs good on my tiller, 212cc

FYI, the hemi has dull unpolished valve covers.
You can order polished aluminum, glossy black, and clear valve covers on gopowersports.com, as well as performance parts fo go karts amd minibikes, or just replacement parts, they have great customer service and quality products

I was just giving info for anyone looking for a hemi at the store, not down playing it.
