Should I buy this moped?

Wasn't the night hawk half of the 1000-1100 or whatever size it was Where they just cut the block in half and made two engines out of it. ? if so, that bike was bad arse!! I rode one and was impressed with it. If not, what bike am I talking about?
They were 450 really close to the Kawasaki 450 in almost every way.... I've had both it was hard to tell the difference

Yeah, belts are $650 bucks!!! Everything else is pretty reasonable though. Good think I only need a belt every now and then.

I like the numbers that came with the bike. Lots of info on the net, but not all of it is right. Got to search and sift. They even tell you what speeds each gear should be in, in the book. lol

I paid $500 for the bike I believe.
I probably shouldn't take for granted everything I read on the internet :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, your probably right with the RPM's your talking about
Because I looked up a 4 stroke 1982 400 Honda and it makes 43HP @8,500 rpm's
Kawasaki 440 out sold the Honda 400 in 1982

In California they had vacuum pot operated slides that killed the power and made the air fresh on all the 400's no matter who made it for emissions is why the data is all different is my point....

When I was around 16 I got my first fast street bike, it was a Suzuki GT 750 triple cylinder 2t and the first production liquid cooled bike (water Buffalo) I thought it was amazing except that the whole time I owned it I never got to use the top of 5th gear, when the pipes hit it would get light or lift the front which all ways made me think of a very high speed wobble that my 155 lbs would not be able to man handle out of, I did get ticketed at 136mph coming out of an sweeping uphill corner on it and told the judge that was impossible LOL, it made 67 hp stock and a good 70+ when we were done with it! I got a TZ 250 next for track racing and still rode it on the street at times, I went past the Toronto Airport on Airport Rd one night just ringing it out and hit the highway heading home to Brampton just north of Toronto about 20-30 min away on the highways, got home parked, took my suit off lit a smoke and ten Toronto cops came flying up my street, I had an RG 500 (gamma) at the time and threw the plate on the RZ for my ride LOL stupid me they knew exactly where to go! The RG was fast, first bike I went over 150 sustained with but I wanted to try the 750 gixer so I traded the RG in and was kinda disappointed, still a fast bike but different animal imo, I still have a H2 that is setup for drag racing now and it is stupid fast if you can stay on it!

I went to school with a guy who had one and it was stupid fast... Or it was a 78 GTX... It's been 30+ years but it was liquid cooled...

Had a buddy that had 2t triple. I rode it a few times. That thing scared the living crap out of me. 3rd gear, I goose it and it pops the front end off the ground and I about sanded the road with my arse. 3rd fastest bike I ever rode, same buddy, but now he has a vrod special edition, that thing is scary scary fast!! Destroyed a pair of my polyester pants on the pipes too. Lol

Uh, Karl,...The 70s just called and they want all their polyester shirts and pants, as well as all the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever suits back...lol.

Ps...Just give em up now Karl...lol.
I loved the 70's dress style. All them cool shirts, the colors that passed up from the 60s. Just a styling time it was. An I'll never give up my 70s garb!! I still wear it!!! 😂
