Clutch getting tighter?

My bike was fine and then the last few rides (I don't ride that often now, maybe once a week) my clutch seems to get tighter as the engine gets warm.

Backstory:
One day I felt a little clunk or something and my clutch wouldn't disengage fully. I got it home and parked it. The next time I was gonna go for a ride and honestly forgot about the issue since when my engine is cold, it disengaged fully and the problem wasn't noticable. But once I got to the first stop light, I remembered. I finished my errands and got it home and re-adjusted my clutch cable then parked it.

Earlier today, I thought that since I had re-adjusted the cable, I'd take care of the issue, or at least mask it, but nope. Once the engine got warm, my clutch doesn't disengage fully!

What is up with that? What do I need to look at in order to figure this out?

Back off the flower nut a notch or two, it should go away...The clutch is probably heating up because its to too close of an adjustment to the pressure plate, (it needs like a 16th of an inch airgap from the pads when cold), like i noticed one of your bikes was when you were visiting me and i backed it off a notch or two back then in December...You tend to like a too close tolerance on your clutches which will heat them up resulting in early clutch failure...DAMIEN

OR, your cable can be slipping in the arm.

I thought that might be the issue but it returned to normal when the bike cooled off.

I backed off my flower nut and it is all good. Pedals way smooth and clutch fully disengages after the engine heats up. I might say it is a little too sloppy and I will be tightening it up a bit before my next ride this afternoon.

🎼I told ya so, I told ya so, I really, really, told ya so🎼...lol...lol...You DO have a habit of overtightening your clutch's...lol.
Yeah but I don't like the sloppy feeling. Maybe I will just play with it and find my sweet spot. And it just started happening which is weird. It didn't happen after a clutch adjustment or anything. You'd think the tolerances would depreciate with engine wear.

Give me a few months and I'll have an upgrade kit to try, no more sloppy cable.

Okay okay okay... Man I loosened up my flower nut to where I almost have to completely release the clutch cable.

I used my MB for commuting for the first time today, 16 miles 1 way. At the end of my trip (last 13 miles is highway, no stopping) my damn clutch was tight again and didn't completely disengage! What in the hell makes your clutch get tighter as the engine gets hot?
