Motorbike Idle/clutch question

I use HD plumbers strap or make L brackets a U shape for the top of the fender. An usually the sides are tough enough, if not a piece of thin round smooth stock, heat the ends red, hammer flat and drill and shape, then paint.
I just ditched the fenders from the start.

But the sexy look a fender gives!! It's like I'm riding a Harley ( you know when they actually built them to run) from back in the hey day. Not exactly like it, but I can have my dreams. Lol.

A lot of guys ditch the fenders, usually safer to go that route. We've all see the pics. Lol.

I was pedaling past an intersection and 2 young kids in a car see me just as a big inch Harley roared by on the out side of me.... To them it looked and sounded like a Harley or I was racing him... They started smiling... It just was so close and timed just right...

The carb is all back together now.
OK...Now that it is all back together again, one thing i would do is to get rid of the cheapie Chinese plug that comes with the motor kit...Replace it for around $2.60 or so with an NGK-B6HS, or NGK-BR6HS, or NGK-B6S, or an E 3.10 spark plug...They run Soooo much better with a good well made plug...I also replace that restrictive air filter with a low profile 360 degree air filter for much better air flow which of course provides better performance.

Have you taken it out for a test ride yet after doing the carby???.

I would suggest taking the plug out and cleaning it first before test riding as i expect it to be really blackened based on your report of how it was running beforehand...Make sure it is gapped at .025 as well...What gas/oil ratio are you running???
