This Blowout Wasn't Supposed to Happen!!!

Yeah I agree on the mag wheel option, it really depends on your riding habits & terrain if mag wheels are viable option. Where I do alot of off road riding & have pot holes that will rip the whole front end off your bike. I stick with spoked wheels for that reason. If I was a city rider I would have a set of mag wheels on that bike. I'm going to try a set regardless.

why mag wheels is my question?
If just paved road riding as previously mentioned...There is no more constant spoke adjustment and wheel truing...I also did it because regular spoked bike wheels that come with the bikes were never intended, designed, or rated to withstand speeds over what one can pedal at...My bike is regularly cruising at between 30 to 35 MPH on a beach cruiser, which are really only rated to safely go at 11 MPH on stock, spoked rims...Add in the fact that the rear hub assembly with the stock coaster brakes WILL always fail, Thats more than enough reason to change to mags and disk brakes with solid axles IF they are used only for paved road usage.

wheel truing as chaining the front wheel to a big @ss tree, and than chaining the bent part to your tractor and popping the clutch??

They only fail when the operator does not take care of them. I'm over a year now on a coaster. I open it regularly to clean, inspect and regrease. Only failure I've had, I over greased it once. The drive cone would slip on heavy peddling.other than that, it's been a great emergency brake. A coaster is a great addition to the c brake's. Just have to take care of them.

Edit: I didn't use the stock rims with my bike. To cheap for a MB. I am using my a set from a bike shop. They cost over 100 bucks each rim. Worth it to me, they are still going after a year, with no problems.

Unfortunately, that is the norm for most people...They are usually not as anal retentive as you and I are about proper maintenence...Unitl it breaks and then it's usually too late...lol.
Right, then they call it cheap Chinese crap. Lol. I have Chinese tools that out lasted snap on. But only because I maintain them. People that don't do preride maintenance and check, get what they asked for. 😂. Sounds mean, but it's true. Lol

When I was a tank mechanic, I bought a set of cheap chinese giant wrenches for the drive lugs. The teeth on the open end would spread open instead of turning the nut.

I remember a buddy of mine was all excited about what a great deal he got on some big SAE wrenches. Made in China
Everyone was suspicious and told him there probably junk
The first time he used a wrench it broke. Funny Funny Funny :ROFLMAO:
