So I have had my 2004 NE5 for barely a week and found out about a car show today at our church earlier in the week and decided to put the Whizzer out there with only two rides (two counting the one to the show today) under my belt and I have to say it was a show stopper. There were only about 10 motorcycles which is the class they put me in. I did not take home the prize ( if the spectators would have been the judges I won hands down) but the interest including from the bikers in the show was unbelievable. :D I know Wrench would have had better information and answers to the questions, The notebook I put together of the history with pictures and my insatiable interest and research held strong. I may have even sold my current cruiser build before it is finished!

Wish I could of been there to share in the excitement. Sounds like you had a great fun time, (y)
Riding my Whizzer to cars shows is one of my favorite things to do. I usually ride to 3 or 4 shows a year in my area
I just park her in different spots as I'm walking around and she becomes part of the show.

I was just sharing one of my car show stories today, In case ya missed it hidden in this thread.
I thought ya might like to check it out.

Wow.. I missed that thread... what a coincidence Wrench! Unfortunately, this was only their second year of organization, and I am not sure they have the right categories or judging criteria. They did the cars only by year range, had a separate truck category and one for motorcycles. There were a couple 80's bikes and these two sleek Modern Honda "custom" bikes with one of them double decked in chrome and an airbrushed graphic that was as professional and creative that I have seen. He won the MC class. It was a great experience that will continue for sure. The '48 is on the truck in PA and should be delivered in about a week. That is going to be my "show bike" eventually.

It sure would be a cool display having the 04 next to the 48
