142-F clutch catching and ringing at idle

MAN, I can't believe it! I wouldn't ever expected to find somebody using that combination, especially with a 15mm Dell'Orto!
Is it an SHA model right? Only SHAs has the 15/15 nomenclature, whereas PHBGs has only one number; I do believe:

That 15/15 has a considerably larger airflow than the stock carburetor or the NT carb, it must be a very responsive engine!

I required to know the spacing between the carburetor studs, I'm aware which the right stud is approximately 3 degrees lower than the left one, using the middle of the interaxis as reference; I took the opportunity to ask because we are in the thematics, despite I could take the carb off myself: The house and the parents are taking away all of my freetime, and for my dearly sanity, I'd better not go fiddle in the garage this weekend.
Here is stud spacing 41.50mm & the carb studs on the the hausheng are 5mm. I converted my engine over to m6 12.9 grade studs throughout entire engine.

There is all kinds of clutches for the straight shaft 142f engine. The Huasheng 142f is great little engine, I've never had a problem with a true huasheng 142f. Plus you got to watch your not buying a copy of a copy on the 142f engines. I would buy the staton clutch, buy once, cry once!! But here is a couple pics of clutches, theres others thou.View attachment 166481

Update:

There is a 0.75mm difference between my engine's shaft and the Staton clutch: It won't fit, along every 5/8" clutches, because my shaft measures 15.12mm and 5/8" is 15.88mm. Unless I sort out a sort of bushing with a slot for a customized woodruff key, I'm grounded.

Go to the hardware store and find a thin steel tubing. You could be able to cut it open longways and pull it apart that it would fit around like a sleeve ?

I can't locally find a tube with an inner diameter of 15mm, or anything smaller than 20mm; I contacted a friend of mine which deals with CNC machines, he could give it a try for me; I'm pending for an extractor tool to get into the mailbox, so that I can take off the clutch, check the size of my woodruff key and prototype a sleeve with my 3D printer.

After my experience with the Staton-inc's staff, I'm considering to either move to an original Honda GXH-50 and or a manually operated, spring loaded, V belt clutch, around my specific shaft.

If you steeple the inside of clutch crankshaft bore with a center punch & use bearing mount that clutch will be there till hell freezes over. You would not even need to use bearing mount if you did not want to, that's just a extra precaution. Your not talking much difference from 15.12mm to 15.88mm

To widen the clutch? Oooh, pardon me; my engine shaft is smaller than the clutch, not the other way!

Staton inc staff replied me which their rotor clutch won't fit because it would be too loose/sloppy, I could try to wrap some aluminium tape around
the shaft too, leaving the key exposed. 0.76mm are close enough to give it a try.

I took the carb off the motor and I swapped every paper gasket with some RTV, as these engines are well known for air leak issues; my spark plug got fowled so badly that the engine can't keep running neither after cleaning it, it has a very weak, orange colored spark. I'm getting pretty soon a CR5HSB spark plug and I'll keep you updated is something will change.

That's the plug my hausheng runs best on. Crs5hsb

Yeah I recently went to the iridium version. Its something something 5HIX. It is a better plug.

Yes, the CR5HIX, I'll get it once I'll be sure which my engine is a runner. I got a new kickstand for the bike, it's very comfortable to work on it now
