100 octane leaded or unleashed was use for decades on 2cycles last place available was marinas for outboard motors... It eliminates predetonation runs cooler and you use more of it...
thats good to know. still the other questions linger and id have to research if i decided to run it regularly

The big advantage in a 5gal can is stability especially if you can get a reliable source... Even if you used a mix of race gas it would be better than the pump gas... And last years in it's unopened can... Opened it lasts longer and it doesn't swell up a plastic jug like the pump lower boiling point so it doesn't vaporize classic car guys like not getting vapor lock and long storage times... The biggest market for it...
I imagine what you mean by reliable is someone that doesnt water it down so much when he is short and needs more money that month? or raises the price as he incurs more personal debt?

Same deal with R/C cars they use so little it's easier to contaminate so having sealed containers of just what there going to use is better

Watered down gas is from sitting in the tanks and an old tank at the station will eventually fill full of water from years of condensation...
It will also fill with water if someone sticks a hose in it and turns on the spigot....lmao

My rc corsair is electric also made of a foam composite. Yet for me to get a pilots license from the city of costa mesa I'm required to show that I carry a million dollars of insurance to get one. We all know what damage styrafoam can do
