1910 HD replica engine?

If one was to build a 1910 single replica, but using a more modern engine from the F-head engines, what else with a tighter budget would fit a long stroke, air cooled ~200cc? HF and Honda engines look too modern, and lawn-mower-ish.

You guys have me stuck. Ever since I saw @DieselTech whith his belt drive, and the pic posted below, for some odd reason, i want to build a hand-made belt drive something with pedals.

Anyone reading this, not a "pipe dream" as I certainly can make it reality with the equipment at my disposal, but at the same time, not going to be putting "Runge Cars" kind of time into it.

I keep thinking about making a 1:.75 model of a Harley, and think it might be fun. I have a Hossfeld #2 bender (multiple dies), RogueFab bender (few dies), Miller 250 SW, Hobart Handler 190, Delta surface grinding too maker, Bridgeport knee mill, Logan Lathe, two Evolution cold saws, and a metal folder (non-finger brake).

So, back to the initial question, would y'all be willing to help me find a vintage-looking engine to start this off?

Big cylinder maytag engine if you can find any in your area, they would look the part. Plus I believe they made a 2 cylinder version as well. A kick start model M briggs & stratton would look the part, you will have to pay decent money for 1 but that's what I would use.

Short stroke. I want something with a really TALL cylinder.

The briggs model M is fairly tall, but alot of these guys doing replicas are making a cylinder head that gives the engine the appearance you are seeing in that 1910 pic of harley. If you got access to milling equiptment this is easy to do with any flathead series engines.
