The 110 Adventures.

Not long winded, detailed. I like when there are lots of details. Never change the way you post. A lot of us here are looking for exactly what you post like. An we thank you for that good sir.
A part of one of my learning "disabilities" is that I tend to be hyper focused on detail. Almost obsessively so. I actually get annoyed when I go looking for information on subject matter of any kind and the information is vague or incomplete. That is why I try so hard to include as much information as I can when I put the work in, because it drives me insane how little people report on things. I have spent way more money than I care to admit on parts while trying to adapt or fabricate something because I couldn't find information as simple as a bolt pattern. Like that MS660 base gasket that I paid 8 bucks for just to see how the bolt pattern lines up. I have a problem lol.

Oh, I forgot about mentioning that I got my polish bars in. This is 3 stages, Rouge "rough", Black medium, and a white diamond/fine and a bit of hand finishing. I may have lied about not going for a mirror, but in my defense, it isn't perfectly smooth either. You can see some pits in there lol.

The piston crown will get the same treatment. May as well go crazy.
Do you do anything regarding the head gasket contact areas?

Oh God, don't read any of my post then. Some people are too vague in their queries or don't include a picture, so it's only right to give a halfa$$ answer.

That's why I started " Yep, I spent more money". LOL!! I do the same thing. I've spent thousands and thousands on this hobby, just to find what worked and what didn't. Then years later, I found this forum. LMAO!! I spend way to much on this hobby, but I love it. Dave asked me today ( guy here in the O too. ) why I do this hobby. An my answer , " Because I love it." I wasn't going to let him go home today until his bike fired up every time, and ran right. I see why Zeda cost more than other kits. You don't have to port match or nothing, at least on his kit. All the gaskets matched, the ports were perfectly clean. I love to tinker though. I use CDH, they need a port cleaning, but have the closed transfers I like, and don't cost so much. I spend a lot of time playing with these bikes, probably more than riding them. Working on a build is half the fun for me. I don't care if it takes a year to perfect a build, its half the fun. I know all about the buy a part to see if it will work, should I mod it, or does it go in the someone else can use it later pile. I ended up stocking up on a ton of gaskets and jets ( it's what most people need when they ask for help, a blown gasket or right jet). I know what I like now, and what works best for me on regular CG's. So I don't spend as much as before, but still love throwing money at this hobby. Keep spending!!! You know you love it!! lol

I love the posts where they say their engine makes noises, or should my plug look like this, and no pic or video or even a description of the problem. lol. I also like to add some sarcasm in sometimes when everyone else already said the correct answer. Guess not all of my sarcasm is easy to read. lol

Thanks...? lol. I like to try and document things as much as possible. Makes for some long winded posts with lots of pictures and often a somewhat dry read, but who knows, maybe it may help somebody.

Yeah, there is something satisfying about polishing metal. It's a little time consuming, but it makes the ADHD in my brain happy to have something to stare at.

You know... them.
Just so you know, I've been waiting for a post like this on the LD110's. If it didn't happen soon, I would have bought one to see what's up with them. lol. Now I know what to expect when I do buy one.

Yeah, I had a good idea of what to expect thanks to the couple of videos I did find about them. Reading the reviews on Amazon is also a good indicator. I knew this thing was going to be a big mess before I ever started. Hell, even just looking at the pictures of the cylinder on Amazon shows slag and mismatched ports.

OH, trust me, I love the super vague posts. "My bike won't start" with all the details being "We put the engine on the bike, it looks like it has fuel, I don't get it." I just hammer them with question after question after question. If they don't know I tell them to go find it first. They expect psychic levels of capability. I even have to occasionally tell them that "I'm not there, I can't see, hear, or smell anything. You have to learn."

I don't trust amazon. They banned me from reviews. Seems only the paid reviews show up. I guess if you can prove amazon cat food is killing cats, and point people to the evidence, they will ban you on there. lol. Never buy any amazon pet food, your pet will probably die.
