Exhaust What did I do? TLAR exhaust mod?

Chainlube here’s the pipe you have on order on my 49mm bore cranbrook, if you notice the stinger is larger than the head pipe.

Yea, I see that in the Stan's catalog. It seems both the header pipe and stinger are the same size. That pipe looks fatter in the belly, don't we all, than the one on your 49cc, is that so?

Once I'm done making the belly stinger, it will be as quiet as a mouse.

That's on a big bore conversion I did, it's a 40mm stroke with a 49mm top end I got off of ebay. Yes it is larger in the middle, the guy down the road gave it to me, he took it off his 69cc, said it was too dang loud.

I guess he wasn't a 2t scientist.

Is there a difference between that one and the one in post #8?

Yes the belly is slightly bigger on the Zeda type pipe, the smaller pipe works well on a 48cc, the pipe and stinger combo in post 8 has the same power band with different engines. I swapped engines to rebuild the 12 old Grubee gt2b, it has too much end play.

I've degreed all three 48cc engines I have, all are different. The Grubee has the longest exhaust and transfer timing and runs the best of the three. I've found a cylinder with a round exhaust port, I'm going to use to copy the Grubee timing on.

I think he leaned his leg against it while riding also, I still have scares from touching the exhaust head pipe on a dirt bike.
I did that too, plus broke my nose and dislocated my shoulder. It was all in good fun.
