Sweet...Ya got a Hyper BC...I notice whomever had it, put an after market seat on it as well...It looks almost exact like the new one I just ordered an put on my Hyper just yesterday...The only difference it mine is black with red highlights to it that match my black and red fenders...lol...quite confortable too with memory foam and two rubber ball like shock absorbers under the seat...lol.The Phantom will fit on that!
Correct...This is what I had to do in order to do mine properly on a Hyper not only when I put the original Zeda 80 on but the Phantom 85 also is identical in instructions as well...The easy part was exhanging motors...I did not have to change or readjust anything just because of a different motor...The URL link below can guide you as to how I did it along with the other links that you would just simply follow.I notice the bar where the rear rim brakes would go has the hole facing the wrong way (for the fender)...
>argh<
I'm just having a hard time finding a proper mount to go disc with a vertical dropout and figured screw it... but even going rim will be a pain in the ass. I suspect that If I drill the oppose direction what's left will be quite weakened with holes drilled both directions.
These are the calipers I used...Just go back and forth as needed to those other links I gave you to find everything else you will need to use these calipers.I read that link. The caliper set you recommend from BBR specifically state they are not for vertical dropouts and not to use them with them... I believe you used your own, right? Unfortunately, unless you know something I don't... the ones you link to won't work for me... right?
My apologies... I meant the caliper BRACKET ADAPTER you posted. That specifically states it's not to be used with vertical drop downs. These are the calipers I used...Just go back and forth as needed to thos other links I gave you to find everything else you will need to use these calipers.
