...and avoid BikeBerry's CNC mount. It's designed for 6mm hardware and there isn't enough meat on the mounting plate to drill it out to accommodate 8mm hardware...
That's pretty much why I'm an advocate for the ever so inexpensive muffler clamp.

Being I'm using the same bike you are... where did you get your muffler clamp and which one specifically?

:)

Always open to every option ... just so many different ways...

@Chainlube ... i've seen you (and Damien I think) advocate for muffler clamp usage... can you go in to detail as to how you mount said muffler clamp to the motor? I can't weld. I don't really have the equipment necessary to manufacture something... I'd need a bolt-on option... and the more I deal with this the more I wonder why in the heck I'm not just direct mounting being the front mount for the motor fits the downtube of a hyper nicely... doing so also lowers the center of gravity with the engine lower. I know there is an argument as to the angle of the motor and for that I argue that the angle is dictated by the back mount anyway... isn't it best to lay that flat against the seat tube?

I'll PM you with the details for the No Weld mount.

Bikeberry's crappy listing omitting the fact that, unlike OTHER manufacturers products, theirs doesn't support 8mm hardware... and mentions nothing in their listing. Looks like I'll be eating return-shipping AND they're going to hit me up for a 15% restocking fee. We'll see on the restocking fee... I made it very clear if they charge me the 15% restocking fee I will never spend another red-cent with them. Lets see if they back off on that (I suspect they won't as I'm dealing with their customer service department... which is out-of-country has has zero actual power to do anything outside of the "norm".).

I'll update this post as to whether I think BB is worthy of your dollars...
