Hi I recently bought an 80cc bike kit and it was almost ready to go on, but my clutch won’t work. And I know for a fact it’s not my flower nut being too tight because I’ve tried loosening, tightening, and even removing the thing and it won’t budge. I even tried to put the clutch arm on and the lever to engage it is rock solid still. It’s also very hard to get the clutch arm assembly on because the bucking arm sticks out too far. Any help would be appreciated

Some of the off brand kits sit around for some time before they are sold, so the assembly oil gets a little caked on. Remove the flower nut and the clutch plate and put a socket on the nut in the middle, with the spark plug out give the nut a little turn. This will free it up.

Hi, so I did what you said and it only just rotated the center piece. Maybe I didn’t explain it right, but my bucking won’t push in it just stays still when I pull the level it’s just rock solid.

Can you put the cover with the clutch arm on the engine? Pull the bucking bar out and check to see if you have two balls in there instead of one. You might have to squirt some PB or WD in the hole to get the ball/s out.

I cant put it on. I’ll check for a second ball and I’ll get back.
