How do I determine the size of my piston head ? I need to get some rings for it !! Do I just measure the top side to side? I have no markings on the motor any senior help

Measure the piston diameter with digital calipers. Write that number down. Then take a ring off of the piston & measure the ring thickness. So for example, let's say your piston measured 47mm, then say the ring thickness measured 1.5mm. So then again for example, you need to get 47mm x 1.5mm rings. Hope that helps!
