Depends.
For long rides on the push bike in sub-freezing temps, I use a pair of military woolens under a now mismatched 'pair' of FEMA-Mart issue generics OR a pair of really, really old ski gloves.
Too bulky for the MB.
For short rides motorized, I find mechanics' gloves from Shanghai Fleight work rather well, they're fairly tough, surprisingly warm for something so thin and give you enough flexibility to work all those extra controls.....
