Any advice for putting a motor on a ladies bike?

Not exactly a lady's bike but it was a fun build. Has a 48cc engine.

1/2 gal tank that is made to mount on the handle bars
And where exactly would you mount the mirrors, speedometer and horn???...lol.

That sucker takes over more real estate than Bill Gates does buying up American farmlands and being the largest farmland owner in the US...lol.

If the bike in question uses 1-3/8 tires and can't take anything larger I would just avoid the bike, you will never avoid flats and extremely bumpy rides. (I have done a few bikes that can only use these tires, I cannot recommend such a build.)

Otherwise a ladies bike looks great after a conversion and has that more classic moped look. As seen on previous posts.

Yeah them little tires suck, but he could spread the rear wheel stays a little & probably use a modern mountain bike wheel. I'll have to look 2mrow, I have the same bike in green in my bike pile.🤣😂🤣

If the engine fits, flip the tank brackets over and use self tapping screws to mount the brackets into the frame then the tank can mount onto the bike

OR use a seat tank their is also other ways like using a moped pump :)

i like riding "girl" bikes i feel like my friends down south arn't gonna get crushed by the bar in a fail attempt getting off le bike

Mirrors go on the helmet, the horn is clenched in your teeth and you could mount the speedometer on your wrist, sort of like a blood pressure monitor.
Talk about being connected to your ride.
Kill Hates - who wants you to eat soy & bugs - would approve, so would Elon Musk, who wants to chip you.

My reasoning for engineification of the '61 girl Tornado are a) that it kinda looks like a moped or chopper, especially with the ape hanger-esque handlebars my former brothers-in-law put on it, b) that it's HEAVY, good ole Chicago steel, this thing is a BEAST to pedal uphill, even naked without any racks, panniers, lights or other attachments, and c) what else am I going to do with a ladies' bike that's older than I am ?
