Hello! Modifying mount for a cheap cruiser bike! Should i?

Where are the heads on the bolts going to go? He would have to toss the mount it has and weld that one on. Those plates are made more for builders than to frankinstein a bike mount.
I kind of agree with chainlube, I just need to drill holes and grind the tube mount. just need to grab the right bits and tools now lol. As much as i would like to try the interesting plate, i would rather DIY holes into material i have already rather than buying more metal.

You for sure can remove the rear screws on the for and aft adjustment and move the mount forward once you cut it to fit. How many screw holes are in that saddle? You can always drill a new hole if need be, but consider the chain while doing the work. Now is the time to make adjustments so you won't have to use a chain tensioner on the rear. That's the beauty of that kind of mount, you can just move the motor forward or back a bit to adjust the chain.

I had no idea, I've never tangled with one of those four stroke mounts

ALL RIGHT!
I bought a new dremmel for this, worked out good. Will definitely use this tool more. Ground the iron tube mounts and got it fitted. Not ENTIRELY flush... yet. but enough for me to start on the wheel and getting the sprocket and the engine aligned before i add loctite and do anything i can't easily undo. MUCH more level now and with the new holes drilled in, it's a perfect fit!

That's one tight fit. Looks good though. I would love to see future upgrades in the future.
