Another dumb idea. šŸ‘

They only show it as an 18" bike on their website. I wouldn't mind a taller size, but I only need about 14 inches of height to work with above the pedal sprocket
Yeah it's been a couple years since I've been on there website. But they had a build your bike page, where you filled out the dimensions you wanted, & they would then build your bike. They did offer up to a 24" at that time. They had a couple different models as well. Keep us posted if you buy it, I'd like to see what size of engine it might accommodate. Some measurements basically.

Ahhh, I see how you roll Diesel...lol...lol...Get Rocket to be the guinea pig and buy it and then give you the measurements so you can be sure of what you get ordering online...lol...lol...Its always better on someone elses wallet....lol.

A shame I didn't think of that first damn it all...lol...lol.

Lol that 1 on market place for $200 is a steal!!! Plus its orange!!! Even better. Them 16zero bikes are built like a tank. They are nice bikes. But yeah that would be great if some1 tested their wallet out b4 mine.šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ Then were nice enough to share such measurements.

I haven't received a reply yet, and who knows how long it will take

Just incase you haven't seen it, here is one by @5-7HEAVEN.

That picture helps a ton in telling me what kind of space there is to work with in that frame. I know the rough dimensions of those engines, and that basically tells me the AX100 could potentially fit. I might have to run a relatively small crank sprocket though.

Learned something fun just now after looking up the predator 212 engine dimensions. With the fuel tank installed, dimensionally it is very close to the same as the AX100 in terms of overall L x W x H.

This makes me want to build a 2 stroke shifter cart now...

I get dumb ideas a lot, let's just put that out there now.

I am well aware that this ranks up there in the world of dumb ideas, but hear me out.

I can get my hands on a Lifan produced replica of the Suzuki AX100 Engine for about 480 bucks delivered to my door.

I think this would be a fun engine to put in a gas bike frame.

It's not silly powerful. 8.25hp, fairly low compression, and a 4 speed gearbox.

Outside of potential chain alignment issues it could be made to work. The only real draw backs I see are needing fairly wide crank pedals, if they would work at all, and the weight of the entire motor assembly itself at over 40lbs.

As I said, it's a dumb idea, but oh so tempting.
I think 8.25hp is way too much for a bike, the bike wheels, frames, brakes are not designed for the impact caused by the high speed driven by so much power. The highest power for a bike engine may be below 3 hp (or roughly 100 cc).
