Sprocket and rear wheel adaptor

Hello guys just got my new 35T sprocket and rear wheel adaptor and they won't lineup. This is a 3 hole sprocket. Any 2 holes you lineup the 3rd hole is slightly off. Anyway to fix this or what should I do ty.

The cheaper multi-pattern sprockets tend to be like that. CDH sells a few different multi function sprockets with the three holes. sthus is another brand that has a variety to choose from. Both offer CNC or stamped versions of decent quality. I would say to spring for the CNC stuff if you have the budget for it.

You can fix that but ya gotta line it up perfectly centered first, Then just mark and drill new holes in the sprocket PITA

I think I'll give the drill a try since I'm in a hurry and nothing to lose at this point however the hole is threaded and it won't bolt properly but Ill figure something out.

If you drill, the holes need to be laid out and drilled absolutely perfect. Otherwise, you will have a wonky turning sprocket. Even missing by just a fraction is bad in this spot.
If both pieces came from the same vendor I'd try to get a new piece...one or the other. Even if they did not both come from the same vendor maybe you can return one or both. You want your sprocket(s) spinning true.
Close is good enough for horseshoes and hand grenades...., but not for sprockets.

From the look of your picture, it looks like the adaptor is bad, is the adaptor bolted together tight?

Ok done alot more research and I wanna just get this right because my bikes been down 2 weeks now because of this sprocket wheel adaptor deal. So I should send this universal wheel adaptor back to Amazon along with 35T sprocket and have my 30.00 refunded. My rear wheel is 12gauge 36 spoke 26" . I'm buying my stuff from Amazon . If anyone can find me the sprocket and adaptor combo please post it here with pic. Anything you guys think is going to work and I greatly appreciate it so much .

From the look of your picture, it looks like the adaptor is bad, is the adaptor bolted together tight?

Adaptor is bolted tight together and it's brand new it fits 1"--1.5" hub
