Fouled plugs issue

I`m new to all this 1 year next month, but when i changed over to a reed and windowed piston on my zeda80, it was sputterin badly, wouldnt rev and barely ran, i moved the c clip on the needle down a notch is all it took.

I did do that and I also drained all the fuel out and that didn’t work when I was working on my base gasket I added straight up 2 stroke oil in there about 5 oz and I think that is the issue because I let it sit and hasn’t started it since and I had the plug issue since then do y’all have any ideas on how to get the excess oil out?

Yep, take the motor off the bike, take the cylinder jug off, add some pre-mix gas into that crankcase and swish it about and pour it out, repeat as necessary until you feel sure you got it out.

You should never pour straight oil into the crankcase on a 2 stroke motor, That crankcase of a 2 stroke works on the principle of holding what it needs in the crankcase by drawing and holding the gas/oil ratio pre-mixed fuel when the motor is used, it does this on its own, without need of human assistance...lol.

No crank case oil on a two stroke, the lubrication comes from the fuel/oil mix. The oil settles out and adheres to the moving parts.

Any oil in the crank case will use vital space needed for the incoming charge, you'd be lucky if it ever started.
