Hello my names Tom and im a Noob here from Central Iowa. Bought a crusier with the Huasheng 142F 4 stroke motor. This is my first motorized bike. And learning as i go. Ill be posting another thread asking for some help here shortly. Thanks and have a great day!

It’s better to have a front brake, I add them to every bike I build. You can add a side pull brake that mounts using the fender bolt, look for long reach brakes, mine are 96mm reach. Measure from the bolt down to the rim for a good estimate. BMX. style are heavier and do a good job. Something like the picture below can be found on eBay.

I actually completely changed bikes, cuz i didnt like the cruiser with its coaster brake at all.. but now having issues trying to keep it running

If you use regular old pump gas, that could be the issue, or no fuel filter. Pop the float bowl off the carb and rinse it out, might be all it needs.
