Minibike idea

My 1st real M/C was a 72 CT70. On its best day with no wind on a flat it could do 45mph. I would have been the fastest kid on the block with a 125cc put on that bike.
I had the 2t Suzuki 90, it would do 50.

Why stop at a 125? Get yourself a ZS190 engine. 190cc horizontal Honda clone with a 5 speed transmission and 17hp. Get a 212cc big bore kit and a 4 valve Daytona head and push well over 20hp 😉

If you are going to go death wish, you may as well do it properly.
I'm going 150 GY6 on a Murray mini bike frame. The engine is 3speed auto.

Ha! Funny you say this. My first motorbike was an orange 1970 CT70.
Icebear makes a knockoff CT copy with a 125 engine.
You can even get Honda stickers put on the icebear knockoff for an extra $100.

I've eyeballed that Icebear 125cc, it's pretty neat. That would make a great hood ride for an old rider. That vs a $5000 Honda hunter cub, Ice bear just might win out.
