Has any one ridden or build a front wheel friction drive gas powered bike I was wondering if any one has pros and cons the only thing ive heard so far is that when the motor is on the back wheel engaged and you try and pedal and it will feel like your stuck in the mud but not when its over the front wheel but you have to be careful taking corners make sure your off the gas and ive heard that with the motor in the front you will go about 3mph faster then vs the rear but ive never rode one so I dont know if any of this logic is true

Can only answer the stuck in the mud feel of the rear drive. On a Staton kit you can lift the rear roller off of the tire and it feels like regular riding/pedaling. If you pedal with the roller against the tire you can get that feeling if your not using the motor. Think of driving a FWD car vs a RWD and you can get a good idea of the difference except in FWD it's magnified 10 times on a bicycle. Steering will be affected most. It's just a choice issue, whatever fits your needs/wants. Cost is the same to do either.

Check with @2speedboi he does that regularly.

In my perspective;

I love the pull of front wheel drive, but the rear power of a 3.5hp 29cc made it feel like a rocket.

Steering is strange for about 30 seconds and then you don't even notice.
I like having rear cargo space so building a front mounted engine suits my needs perfect.

If your home building there's a few of us that can give you some pointers.

That Ratrodz site isnt working. Also, i plan to be pulling alot of weight up some long 6 percent grade hills. Should i stick with chaindrive?
