I did a search and could not find the info I need.

I've never driven anything that has a clutch. I took a ride for the very first time today. I got the hang of it.

What am I suppose to do when I come to a stop light? Do I disengaged the clutch at the light? I noticed I cant be completely still and have the engine running while the clutch is engaged. It stops the motor. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I still dont get how the clutch works. Once I engage the clutch and the engine is running....I can have the bike not moving and still be at idle???

the link he gave you led you to other info that addressed proper clutch adjustment with pics...so, you have what you need to learn your answer.

when he gave you that link, "go ask your question in this existing topic" was his point.

please do that, then we'll get rid of this "repeat"...m-kay?

(i bet if you read all that info azkronic linked you to...there's a link to some great pics too...you won't even have to post a question)

Yes, you have to disengage the clutch when you stop. Then when you start, you have to pedal to get the bike moving and then engage the clutch.

I find it easiest to disengage the clutch when I start slowing down and just coast to a stop.

i'm trying to get rid of this "repeat" and force a reply in an active thread, like the one azkronic supplied...so i have to lock this one...as soon as i see ovni's seen it, i'll remove this one.
