Hello, I'm in atlanta and have been trying to get my motored bike project going along by reading info here. I look forward to conversing with everyone about the exciting motorbikes!!

Right now I'm at the stage of mounting the motor, from everyone's experience is welding the best mounting technique or using bolts and screws w/o welds? Also I'm wondering do most people weld and mount the engine with the chain on to get tension since it will be welded permanently?

-Thanks, sorry if all of this should be in a different area not intro.

Hey great, I actually go to college not far from you. What kind of setup and bike are you using?

edit- i saw your 'finished' thread with your cruiser, looks good. When I get mine together, hopefully soon, we'll have to meet up sometime.

Not from the country of pine and pollen but welcome to MBc from the Giant Side of Texas!

Thanks alot for the thread link, that looks alot better than paying someone to weld my bike and not be able to make adjustments.

-btw, I wish I could edit out that spelling error on my first post:rolleyes:, looks like you can only edit once though.

Welcome to MBc. I edit quite a bit. I think you get so many hours or one day.
These bikes are exciting and there's a great group of people here.
