You really need Normans Light Kit (pm me or pm Norman on motorbicycling.com other website). They look great, are small and powerful, and run off the white wire. Worth the money.
This is using Nashbar's Day Trekker mini panniers on a cheap rack. This works great, room for tubes and tools on one side plus a pump, and room for a jacket or some food on the other, and can strap a 1gal can on top to go get fuel or ride all day.
