Cases such as the need to raise the engine for more clearence on the botton, or to have a different angle for the routing of the chain. In these cases the rear mount (always mounted first) has to ride higher on the tube. When this is done the front mount will increase distance from the front tube. It is best to make or buy a front mount (drill NO holes) as mounting the front comes after mounting the rear. This will enable the engine to rest properly between the tubes. In doing such broken studs, broken mounts and stripped stud holes have a better chance to be aleviated. These ideas along with a hardware update will prove to give you less problems in the future.
