This is the intake for the case reed. Why would some paint the sealing surface? Dont know how I missed this when I tore down the engine. Thanks Zeda motor sports! This could have ended very badly.
yea i got lucky with my shorty intake wasent painted from them was rusty as hell tho sadly my dio cylinder is messed up so im about to modify the bolt holes a little bit and mount it onto one of the dual 32mm-40mm reed setups and see how it likes one of my two 21mm okos or the 24mm nibbi racing carb i got sittingg collecting dusst
