This is a picture I took for this forum in it's early days, shortly before my first ride of 2007. The North Dakota snow had melted, the weather was decent, I had some great times in my last summer there. Tires proved to be amazing.
Looking back, here I see a F&R 12v turn signal set, I had a 12v battery in the front trunk, dual fuel tanks, laser-cut sprocket adapter and I-beam mount of my own designs, dual 6v bottle generators are hidden behind panniers and are bridged to charge 12v battery, regular duracells battery operated rear flashers and front aux lights. 12v battery also operated an automotive aux light. North Dakota night rides were absolutely dark if you had no lights.

I had done a lot of electrical work on that bike the Winter of 2006/2007. Also, this was my second year with Kenda Sun Flame tires. They were the original "flame tread" tires and despite looking like a gimmick, were actually very good-handling tires and quite durable.
