This bike is made for taller folks, and was apparently built for this motor or larger. Guess that's why it's called a "Giant".

I am also retired and got 2 of these gas bikes, I love the freedom of the simple transportation. I also ride an old 1969 Triumph, but these bikes are so different. Very nice bike, good luck with your ride....glenn
