All these edges were machined 90 degree sharp, and the normal play within the clutch was allowing the sharp edged clutch shoe backing metal to gouge the bell. As you can see above, this has been RECTIFIED.
So, where before the clutch would ring like a bell literally when accelerating from a dead stop and grab hard when engaging, now it's quiet and progressive with much less shaking, with almost zero bell pinging. So mission accomplished, drivetrain improved! thanks for reading
