i've got a 1950 speedwell thats an ausie made bike, i've had it for 20years and its by far my fave.if you want to keep the original paint my tip is to give it a wipe over with a light oil, you'd be supprised at the way it brings up the old paint

What a prize you have there it is screamin for a motor on it.
