Wowee! That is some beautiful metal work there. I dig the copper accents. How did you do that? With a welder? Casting? Looks a lot classier than just the standard weld joint.
 
Thanks for the comment, I don't check this board as often as I should.
The accents on this were done with a MIG, came about quite by mistake. I was working on the rear motor mount bracket when I messed up on a weld. I thought I had to scrap the piece and just started to play around with some crazy zig-zags and frustration welds. After I was done I took an 80 grit sanding wheel to it and was pretty happy with what came out . I went ahead and planned on using this on the frame and other commponents. It's raw steel, sprayed black then wiped with solvent to leave the recessed areas dark (to give it a patina).
